Washington Area Association of Amhara (WAAA)
WAAA's vision is to see a Genocide-Free Amhara living in Ethiopia with no marginalization, displacements, or killings; and realize the government system to equalize the Amhara with his other Ethiopian brothers and sisters.
ከዘር መጥፋት ነጻ የሆነ የአማራ ማህበረሰብ፤ በውሸት ትርክት ምንም አይነት መገፋት፣ መፈናቀልና መገደል ማይደርስበትና በመንግስት የማይበደልና እንደሌሎች እኩል የመንግስትነት ድርሻ ያለው አማራ በኢትዮጵያ ማየት።
WAAA has a mission to engage , informed, and organize, Amhara's living in the Washington Metropolitan area so they can work together to stop Amhara mass killings and Genocide across Ethiopia.
በዋሽንግተን ዲሲና አካባቢ የሚኖረውን የአማራ ምህበረሰብ በመድረስ፣ በማስረዳትና በማደራጀት ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ አማራላይ እየተፈጸመ ያለውን የጅምላ ጭረሳ ለማስቆም የሚደረገውን ጥረት የበኩሉን ድርሻ እንዲዎጣ ማረግ
Patriot Eeshete Mogus & His brave son
“Listen! Listen to me carefully! I want you to spread this message. They have surrounded us. I was with my son at Assefa Taye’s home”, said Eshete to his brother-in-law.
“I have killed five of them and Yitages got three. We have killed these men. I swear! St. Michael is my witness. Listen to me! But they got my son. They killed my Yitages”, cried Eshete in what would be his last phone conversation.
“I am calling to tell you where you will find our dead bodies. I am next to my son and this is where I will die. You will find our corpse at the backyard of Assefa Taye’s house inside his sorghum farm. Please remember. I will question you in the Afterlife”, said Eshete.
“I am also calling you to ask you to protect my children. All I had was my car which is here but they are going to burn it. I don’t want my kids to go hungry. Please inform the government. My children are my trust unto you”, uttered, the
valiant, his last words.
